Summary

Women’s reproductive health is a major determinant of a nation’s health and the health of its future generations. With 200 million women residing in the Middle East region, the importance of conducting more research in the area of women’s health is clear and is needed to serve as a benchmark for evaluation of future research activities and comparative purposes with Middle Eastern immigrants and other populations.

To optimize the health of women in the Middle East, we aim to look to the future of health care system, which is inclusive and understanding to women’s health and ensuring women specific health issues are a priority. We are seeking submissions from a range of topics and methodologies relating to women’s and reproductive health, including but not limited to: Menstrual Health and Conditions; Common Gynecological Diseases and Reproductive Health; Gynecology oncology; Infertility; Pregnancy (Prenatal and Antenatal care); Family Planning and Contraception; Mental Health and Quality of Life; Nutritional, Environmental and Lifestyle Factors; and Women’s Health Policy and Human Rights Research in Reproductive Health.
